During this college lacrosse season, we are lucky to have some of the best players. While there are hundreds of players on college lacrosse teams, we will focus on five players that are likely to make their mark on the game. These players are Brodie Merrill, Michael Powell, Gary Gait, Paul Rabil, and Jessie Coffield.
Jessie Coffield
Currently, Jessie Coffield works as a sports anchor and reporter for DraftKings. She hosts a show called The Sweat. She also appears in several Super Bowl ads.The Sweat is a sports show on NFL-only Bally Sports Network stations during football season.DraftKings launched “The Sweat” to expand the company’s digital reach.The Native American rainmaker concept inspired the show.It was not intended to launch Coffield as a national commercial spokeswoman. However, it took only a short time for Coffield to become the face of DraftKings.
Before working with DraftKings, Coffield was a sports anchor for Lax Sports Network for three years. After her time at Lax Sports Network, Coffield took a year off and worked as a sideline reporter for Revs TV.
Gary Gait
During his three-year run at Syracuse, was a dominant force. He was the school’s all-time leading scorer and was named NCAA Player of the Year in 1990. Gait is also considered one of the greatest players ever to play the game.
He set numerous NCAA records, including the most scored goals in a tournament. Gary Gait was also a three-time All-American and won the USILA Player of the Year award twice. Gait was a key member of the Orange’s three national championship teams.He led Syracuse to a national title in 1988 and two straight titles in 1990.He was named Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA tournament in 1990 and earned NCAA Player of the Year honours.
Brodie Merrill
Despite his young age, Brodie Merrill has become one of the best lacrosse players in the world. He has won various awards and accolades and is one of the most popular lacrosse players in the game. He is the richest lacrosse player in the world.Merrill was named Rookie of the Year in his first year in the National Lacrosse League.He was also named the MLL Defensive Player of the Year.He was also named an All-American. He also earned a spot on the All-New England team.
Merrill has won almost every major lacrosse award. He is an All-World honoree, an All-American, a two-time Tewaaraton Award Finalist, and a Canadian National Lacrosse Team member. He has also played for a variety of teams in the professional leagues.
Paul Rabil
Rabil was a team captain during his four-year collegiate lacrosse career at Johns Hopkins.He contributed to the Blue Jays’, won three NCAA titles and was named to the All-American first team twice. He played for the Philadelphia Wings and the New York Lizards of the National Lacrosse League.He has been named an MLL MVP twice and was named an Offensive Player of the Year.
Rabil made history in the National Lacrosse League, where he helped lead the Washington Stealth to the Champion’s Cup in 2010. He also helped the New York Lizards win the title in 2015. He has been named a two-time MLL MVP, selected to the MLL All-Star game, and is a three-time All-American.
Michael Powell
During his career, Michael Powell has set numerous lacrosse records. In addition, he received honours for his accomplishments.
Powell was named to the NCAA All-Freshman Team as a Syracuse University lacrosse . In addition, he was named the 2006 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player. He was also selected to the All-World Team.
Michael Powell is also known for his involvement in music. He is a member of The Black River band and performs solo shows. He also has an online music video channel. You can watch his videos on YouTube.
Michael Powell is one of the top 5 college lacrosse players in history. He holds numerous records, including the school’s all-time career point record. He is the only player to have won the Jack Turnbull Award four times in a row.
